Bruce Adams

Bruce Dillard Adams, 60 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday (December 29, 2010) at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, MO.
The son of Theodore J. and Lurene Frances (Shively) Adams, he was born July 1, 1950 in Kirksville,Missouri. He attended the Kirksville Schools and graduated from the Kirksville High School. He served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1976. He was employed many years with the Santa Fe Railroad. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and classic cars.
He was a member of the Adair Lodge #366 A.F. & A.M., Royal Arch Caldwell chapter #53, Knights Templar Ely Commandry 22, Kirksville Council #44 R&SM, Molia Temple of St. Joseph and was a 32nd degree Mason of St. Joseph.
Bruce is survived by his mother, Lurene Adams of Kirksville; one son, Theodore Bruce Adams of Foley, MO; one daughter, Amy Jo Adams of Kirksville and one sister, Judy Vinyard.
He was preceded in death by his father on December 7, 1978.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (January 5, 2010) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Virgil K. Jones officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Park View Memorial Gardens.
