Jason Orval Aldridge

Jason Orval Aldridge, 25 of Queen City passed away late Thursday afternoon (April 21, 2011) at his home in Queen City.

The son of Allen and Sandi (Lewis) Aldridge, he was born in Queen City on October 16, 1985.

Jason is survived by his parents, two brothers Shane Aldridge and wife Bonnie of Queen City, and Adam Aldridge and wife Carla of Green City, MO; his maternal grandparents, Junior and Betty Lewis of Greentop, MO. He is also survived by two nieces, Angelica and Victoria Aldridge, two nephews, Troy and Shane Andrew Aldridge, special friends, Heather and Brooke Sparks, several aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Orval and Dema Aldridge.

Jason grew up in Schuyler County and attended the Schuyler Schools. He worked for Jefferies Plumbing for about four years then went to work as a ranch hand working with horses which were the love of his life. He enjoyed breaking horses and roping, and really liked competing in Ranch Rodeo’s and Jackpots.

Jason was a big hearted young man, always willing to help others.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (April 23, 2011) at Dooley Funeral Home with Pastor George Bradburn officiating. Musical selections will be "Farther Alone", "Amazing Grace", Last Dance" and "Rodeo". Burial will be in the Queen City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shane Aldridge, Adam Aldridge, Scott Eads, Alan Ferdig, Matt Greathouse and Danny Jefferies. Honorary bearers will be John Cook, Gene Lewis, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Dooley Funeral Home, Queen City, Missouri
