Kevin Lee Shultz

Kevin Lee Shultz, age 41, of Kirksville, MO, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
He was born May 15, 1970, at Kirksville, MO, the son of Dennis Lee Shultz and Victoria May Baldwin Locke.
Surviving are his mother, Victoria May Locke and husband Monty of Kirksville, MO, his father Dennis Lee Shultz and wife Bobbi of Kirksville, MO, paternal grandmother, Barbara Shultz of Rutledge, MO, maternal grandfather Jay Baldwin of Columbia, MO, step grandmother Mary Mountain of Kirksville, MO, two brothers, Brian Shultz and wife Katrina of Kirksville, MO, Steve Hall and wife Judy of St. Louis, MO, one sister, Angie Meng and husband Stan of Oregon, MO, nieces and nephews, Brittney, Aiden, Jennifer, Courtney, Jordan and Samantha and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Edwin Shultz, maternal grandmother Pauline Baldwin, and his step-grandfather Fred Mountain.
Kevin lived most of his life in Kirksville where he received his education graduating from Kirksville High School in 1988. Kevin was in the Jazz Band in High School and received a music scholarship to Hawaii Pacific College in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he lived for one year. In high school Kevin was active in the Jazz Band and track. Kevin enjoyed playing the trumpet and loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO. Reverend Dan Todd will officiate the services. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Darrell Shultz, Corey Shultz, Collin Shultz, Robert Adams, Ray Lee Baldwin and Bill Harker.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2011, from 1 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m. in the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
