Dorothy Maens Waddell-Herrington

Dorothy Means Waddell-Herrington, 91, of Kirksville, passed away Wednesday (June 22, 2011) at Highland Crest Assisted Living in Kirksville.

She was born January 17, 1920, in Moberly, the daughter of Lewis M. and Evangeline (Boggs) Means.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Evangeline Perry, two children, Tommy and Nancy, in infancy, and a sister, Rebecca Ann Jones.

Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Mardee Henselman of Kirksville, four sons, Frank D. Waddell and wife Sue of Casper, WY., Kenneth F. Herrington and wife Kathy of Louisville, KY., Lewis M. Herrington and wife Jin of Seattle WA., and Geoff R. Herrington and wife Christine of Farmington, MO., one son-in lawRon Perry of Fairfield IA., thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday (June 25, 2011) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayette, MO. Burial will follow at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Fayette.
