Verne Wymore, 72, of Unionville, MO, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
Verne Eugene Wymore was born in Unionville, MO, on July 26, 1939. He was the son of Edward Clark and Alma Florence (Cox) Wymore, who preceded him in death. Verne had the unique distinction of living in the same house his entire life. He worked as a farm hand in the area and was known as a good neighbor and good friend. Verne was an honest man whose word was his bond. He was also dependable in all situations.
Verne is survived by two sisters, Olive Knight, of Denver, CO, and Clara Wymore, of Chillicothe, MO. Two nephews also survive: Graham Knight and Paul Knight. Verne was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie, who died in childhood.
Verne’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home in Unionville, MO, is in charge of arrangements.
