Mary Annette (Blanchard) Durbin passed away November 2, 2011, in the University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO.

Mary was born August 12, 1925, in Unionville, MO, to Charley and Eliza (Miller) Blanchard, who preceded her in death.

Mary grew up in Unionville, MO, attending the Brown School and graduating from Unionville High School in 1943. She was united in marriage to Everett Leo Durbin on October 26, 1946, in Milan, MO, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1988.

Mary lived various places while Everett was in the military, moving to Crocker, MO, in 1962. She then moved to Waynesville in 1966, and lived there until the time of her death. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, having great concern for her family and their well being. She was truly an angel in every way with her kind, caring, and exceptional ways and was deeply loved by her family. She will be greatly missed.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Everett, brothers, Glen Hall, Arthur Hall, and Robert Blanchard, two sisters, Polly Collins and Nellie Hall.

Surviving are children Roger Durbin of Pusan, Korea, Dennis Durbin of Colorado Springs, Johnny Durbin and wife Susan, of Dixon, MO, Patty Durbin and companion William Zadravecz of Waynesville, MO. Four grandchildren also survive, Lisa Durbin of Colorado Springs, Johnna Durbin of Columbia, MO, Mallory Durbin of Dixon, Mo, and Shawna Zadravecz of Waynesville, MO. A brother-in-law, James Durbin and wife Reva, of Unionville, MO, survive, too.

Graveside services for Mary Durbin were held at the Union Church Cemetery north of Unionville, MO, on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Pastor Kevin Collins conducted the service with recorded musical selections “I Can only Imagine” and “One Day At a Time.” Interment was at the Union Church Cemetery.
