Deloras Maxine Booth 76 of Kirksville passed away Saturday (December 24, 2011) at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Alfred and Marjorie (Kitchen) Cox, she was born August 30, 1935 in Macon County, MO. In 1952 Deloras was united in marriage to Jack Booth.

Deloras is survived by two sons, Thomas Booth and wife Kimco of Japan and James Booth of Kirksville; two step children, Billie Hagar of Kirksville and Buddy Booth of Kirksville; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; fifteen step grandchildren and thirty step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1988, one son, Rick Booth and three step children, Harvey Booth, Joann Childers and Jackie Hatcher.
Deloras attended school in rural Macon County, Missouri. She worked for 10 years at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in the Kitchen. She later was a caregiver and cared for people in their homes. She was a very kind hearted person.

Graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (December 29, 2011) at Highland Park Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, 2100 E. Shepherd Ave. Kirksville, MO 63501 660-665-2233
