Pamela Lynn Rackley, 62 of Wright City, MO entered into God’s Loving Care, Saturday, February 25, 2012
Born on November 26, 1949 to Chester and Ruth Parrish in St. Louis, MO. She was one of four children. She Graduated from Ritenour High School in 1968.
She married Jerry Wayne Rackley on July 13, 1974 in St. Charles, MO. They have two sons, Christopher and Jeremy.
In 1977 the family relocated to Hamilton, IL where she was employed as a dispatcher for Great River Gas Co. in Keokuk, IA for many years. In the early 90’s the family relocated to Lincoln County MO, where she worked in trucking and dispatch until near her death.
She is survived by husband Jerry of Wright City, MO., son Christopher (Liane) also of Wright City, MO and son Jeremy of St. Louis, MO. Three grandchildren, Lane, Ella and Macey. Her Sister Melissa Summers of Troy, MO as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lance and sister Janice.
Her final wish was to help others to find a cure for cancer, at her request she donated her body to science.
A memorial service will be held at Vision Christian Church in Foristell, MO on Saturday March 3 at 11am with meal following. The Reverend Larry Fry officiating.
The family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Arrangements under the direction of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
