Danna Lea Boston 72 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (April 26, 2012) at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Wilbur and Zenda Johnson, she was born February 25, 1940 in Chillicothe, MO.

Danna is survived by he husband, William Nelson Boston; one brother, J.W. Johnson; two sisters, Helen Runnells and Mildred Spade; four children, Danny Covey, Denny Covey, Douglas Covey, and Deanna Covey Beard; five grandchildren, James Covey, Misty Covey Thomas, Sarah McAlster, Tyson McAlster, and Cara Covey; and five great grandchildren, Issac Covey, McKayla Covey, Alex Covey, Alisia McAlster and Collin McAlster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Cub Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Frostie Johnson, and Gene Johnson; and one sister, Bula Johnson Lame.

Danna worked all he adult life and retired in 2002 from Glendale ISL of Kirksville. She was a member of first Assembly of God Church in Kirksville.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (April 28, 2012 ) at First Assembly of God Church in Kirksville.
