Gary Lee Noel
Welcomed into the Sacrament of our Lord and Savior, Gary Lee Noel, born September 6, 1942 in Kirksville, MO, died May 25th, 2012 in Bridgeton, MO.
Gary was preceded in death by his son, Steven Lee Noel, brother, Dr. Larry Lee Noel and parents, Kenneth and Marietta Noel.
Gary is survived by his wife, Anne of Bridgeton, MO and two stepsons, Paul Brunswick and Betsy of Bozeman, MT, granddaughters Lucile Anne and Kate; Kevin Brunswick and Lisa of Land-O-Lakes, FL and three grandsons, Zachary, Seth and Joshua; nephews, Dr. Kent Noel and wife Karen of Lees Summit, MO and Lance Noel of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Noel of Moberly, MO, great nieces, great nephews and beloved cousins.
Gary was a graduate of Kirksville High School and Truman University. Gary served with the National Guard Reserve for six years, joining when he was a senior in high school. He worked until retirement for Anheuser Busch, first as a Chemist, then as a Quality Assurance Supervisor. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish and a strong supporter of the Building Fund and the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Until recently, Gary was an avid golfer, hunter and conservationist. He loved his farm in Kirksville, where he spent as much time as possible.
For the last eight years Gary has been an inspiration to all in how hard he worked to rehabilitate and never gave into a grave disability. His dignity, grace, humor and determination are an example to all of how to handle the setbacks of life.
On Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Hills Cemetery, Kirksville, MO there will be a grave side service to commemorate his life. It would be an honor if anyone would like to share a memory of Gary.
