Mary F. Sullivan

Mary Frances Sullivan age 91 of Kirksville passed away Monday (December 31, 2012) in Ozark, Missouri.

Mary was born on October 8, 1921 in Green City, MO, the daughter of Arthur and Eithel Maxey Pipes. On October 12, 1940 she was united in marriage to Lenford Leo Sullivan who preceded her in death on May 20, 2000.

Mary is survived by two daughters; Judy Jones of Kirksville and Betty Ann Smith and husband Dick of Ozark, MO; one sister, Dorothy Tuttle of Kirksville and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lenford; one son, Laverne Sullivan; two sisters and three brothers.

Mary was reared in the Green City, MO where she received her education in the rural schools. After her marriage she and her husband moved to the Yarrow, MO where they lived until moving to Kirksville. She was employed at Laughlin Hospital and Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital. Mary was a member of the Yarrow Methodist Church.

A Graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Yarrow Cemetery on Monday, January 7, 2013, with Reverend Alan Whittom officiating.
