Wayne Richard Noland, 91 of Kirksville passed away Sunday (January 13, 2013) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center.

The son of Scott E. and Jenney (Jensen) Noland, he was born September 29, 1921 in Wayne, Nebraska. On September 9, 1985 he was united in marriage to Pauline Thomas.

Wayne served in the United State Air Force during World War II. He spent most of his working life in Omaha, NE where he worked for Pepsi until he retired. He moved to the Willmathsville, MO area in 1996 and to Kirksville in 2007. He was a resident of Twin Pines since March 6, 2009.

He was a member of the Brashear United Methodist Church and loved to garden.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Pauline; three children, Scott Noland of Colorado Springs, CO, Stephanie Johnson of Tulsa, OK and Susan Noland of Council Bluffs, IA; three step children, Jack Thomas of Gibbs, MO, Paulette Reeves of Kirksville, and Jerry Thomas of Willmathsville, MO; 5 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren; 20 step great grandchildren; 7 step great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date with his remains interred in the Willmathsville Cemetery in Willmathsville, MO.
