Pamela Gale Graham
Pamela Gale Graham, 48 of Kirksville passed away on Thursday (March 7, 2013) at Northeast Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Guy Broughman and Ruby Sloan, she was born January 11, 1965 in Roanock, VA. In the year 1991, she was united in marriage to Landon Horrie and to this union they had one son, Dalton Horrie. On December 22, 2006 she was united in marriage to Andrew Graham and to this union they had one son, Gage Graham.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Andrew Graham; her two children, Dalton Horrie and Gage Graham; her father, Guy Broughman of Winston-Salem, NC; her mother, Ruby Sloan of Buckcannon, VA; her sister, Brenda Haymaker of Benton, VA and two brothers, Doug and Gary Broughman of Buckcannon, VA.
Pamela was raised around Buckcannon, Virginia area where she attended James River High School. She enlisted in the United States Army in 1986 where she became a military police officer assigned to Ft. Stuart, GA. Pamela was then assigned to Turkey where she toured. After she toured Turkey she went into the Army Reserve where she was assigned 339
th
military police. While in the 339
th
military police she served as the administrator of the unit. She also toured El Salvador and Egypt. Pamela retired out of the Military service in 2009 where she had served 22 years.
A private family service will be held at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with military honors provided by Wallace Gillipse V.F.W. Post #4958 of Memphis, MO. Cremation will follow the service and her remains will be taken back to her childhood home in Virginia.
