John W. Mills

John W. Mills was born February 12, 1953 in Chillicothe, Missouri and died April 30, 2013 in Winter Park, Florida.

John was a 1971 graduate of Chillicothe High School, and a 1973 graduate of Trenton Junior College. He served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1994. In 1999, following retirement, he earned a Masters in Business Administration from Florida Metropolitan University.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Mills Jr. and Evonne Mills.

John is survived by his sister, Ruth Williams (John), brothers, Thomas Mills (Janice), Stephen Mills and Mark Mills (Leona), nieces, Rachel Hency and Juliana Mills, and nephews, Thomas Mills Jr., Jonathan Williams, and Andrew Mills.

A graveside service with military rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday (June 15, 2013) at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
