Vinol D. (Teddy) May

Vinol D. Teddy May 72 of Novinger, MO passed away Friday (June 7, 2013) at North Park Village in Moberly, MO.

The son of Rodney and Louise (Davis) May, he was born November 14, 1940 in Adair County, MO. He grew up in Adair County and attended the Green Grove and Novinger Schools. He lived in the Novinger area with his brother Jack until 2007 when he when the nursing home where he was loved by many. He enjoyed listen to the radio, watching TV, reading the Bible and going places with his brother.

He was a member of the Novinger Baptist Church and the American Rifle Association.

Teddy is survived by one brother, Jack May of Novinger, MO; one sister, Jackie Phillips of Panorama, CA and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two half brothers, Ralph and Richard Guffey.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (June 12, 2013) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Virgil Jones officiating. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery north of Novinger, MO.

Pallbearers will be Maykel Brogan, Jesse Wallace, Ora Wallace, James Wallace, Jay Benson, and jack May.

Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, 2100 E. Shepherd Ave., Kirksville, MO 63501 660-665-2233
