Matthew Todd Ruggles

Matthew Ruggles, 29 of Columbia, Missouri passed away Saturday (July 27, 2013) following a traffic accident in Columbia.

The son of Brian Ruggles and Rhonda Rowland, he was born in Kirksville, Missouri, on June 12, 1984.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Rhonda Rowland and Joe Davis of Queen City, MO; his father, Brian Ruggles of Kirksville; a daughter, Marissa Wilcox of St. Louis, MO; three grandmothers, Sharlene Rowland of Queen City, MO, Barbara Saulter, of Macon, MO, and Dorothy Ruggles of Queen City, MO; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Guy (Kaiser) Rowland and Burney (Bill) Ruggles, and a brother, Adam Brandon Ruggles.

Matthew grew up in Kirksville where he attended school, graduating with the class of 2002. On May 20, 2013, he graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

He liked the outdoors and enjoyed biking, running, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. He liked to cook, travel, and loved to play X-Box games with the little neighborhood kids.

Visitation will be Saturday (August 3, 2013) from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the D ooley Funeral Home, Queen City, MO 63561 660-766-2241
