Teddy Lee Stewart, 72 of Connellsville, MO passed away Tuesday, October
8, 2013 at his home.


Teddy was born on September 6, 1941 in Kirksville, MO, the son of Robert
and Della (Potter) Stewart. In 1960, Teddy was united in marriage to Wilda
Craig and to this union three children were born Eddy, Lenny and Joanna. On
March 7, 1997 in Kirksville he married Glenda Scott.

Teddy
is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Caroline Williams and Charlotte
Schrage; brothers, Richard Stewart and Garnett Stewart; brothers-in-law, Alva
Williams and Kenneth Alger; sisters-in-law, LuEtta Stewart and Anna Stewart; nieces,
Vicki Carter, Kathy Easley, and Donna Stewart; great nephew, Ellis Carter, Jr.
and a special mother-in-law.


Teddy is survived by wife, Glenda of the home; sons, Eddy Stewart and
wife Carla of Brashear and Lenny Stewart of Novinger; daughters, Joanna Mathews
of Brashear, Tonia Hess of Quincy, IL; son-in-law, Dr. Wesley Mathews of
Kirksville; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Carol
Alger of LaPlata, Sarah Stitzer and husband Andy of Kirksville, Norma McKim and
husband Larry of Brashear; brother, Sam Stewart of Kirksville; and several
nieces and nephews.


Teddy attended Kirksville Public Schools. He worked for McGrew Edison,
Adair County Special Road, Kirksville Producers Creamery and  Kirksville Concrete until starting his dairy
farm with his son Eddy. Teddy loved the outdoors and spending time with his
family. The Lord and his family was his life.


The family wishes to thank Hospice for all their help.


Graveside service and burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12,
2013 at the Forest-Lewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville with Reverend Jeff Dotson
officiating. Pallbearers are Adrian Mathews, Gideon Stewart, Samanha Stewart,
Danny Mahurin, Gad Scott and Danny Hatcher. Honorary bearers are Nathaniel
Stewart, Neil Mathews, Jeff Mahurin, Monty Jackson, Conar Matthews, Kyler Daman,
Joe White and Riley Poole. Visitation will be held 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at
