Thomas E. Marr

Thomas Edsel Marr 63 formerly of Somerset, Mich. died Friday November 1, 2013, at the home of his sister and brother-in-law in Kirksville.

He was born March 11, 1950 in Jackson, Mich., the son of Edsel and Geneva (Weber) Marr.

Tom is survived by one daughter, Joy Anna Marr of Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Sherry LaMay of Lakeland, FL and Susan & Ron Prather of Kirksville, MO; two special aunts, one special uncle, one niece, two nephews and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two nephews, Steven LaMay and Thomas Ryan Prather; and a brother-in-law, Ron LaMay.

Tom was a 1973 graduate of Michigan State University. The past several years of his employment with the United State Dept. of Agriculture were spent in Sacramento, CA.

Tom’s wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service to be held in the Summer of 2014 in Brooklyn, MI.
