Betty Lou Smith

Betty Lou Smith, 75 of Queen City, MO passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.

Betty Lou was born on December 18, 1937 in Sabula, IA, the daughter of John Jacob and Elma (Alton) Rife. On May 1, 1986 in Graysville, MO Betty Lou was united in marriage to James Smith, who survives.

Betty Lou is also survived by her children, Richard Ledesma & wife Laura Mae, Teresa McNamara Jewell & husband Richard, Daniel Arey & friend Lisa, Jacob Arey, IA, Laura Arey, George Kramer & wife Pam, Bob Kramer & wife Brenda, James Smith & wife Melody, Teresa Thomson & husband Greg, Deb Smith; sister Laura Aarhus ; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren

Memorial service will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Memorials are suggested to the Betty Lou Smith family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
