Raella Lea Shrouf
Raella Lea Shrouf, 47 of Meadville, MO passed away Friday (December 27, 2013) at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, MO.
The daughter of John and Sharon (Cornelison) Blodgett, she was born March 29, 1966 in Kirksville, MO. On August 7, 1993 in Kirksville, MO she was united in marriage to Jackie Shrouf.
Raella is survived by her husband, Jackie; her children, Chelsie Potter, Chassie Clay, Brooke Hurley and Bradley Shrouf; seven grandchildren, Kamryon, Lane, Maciella, Cole, Hailey, Teagen and Kinslea; her father, John Blodgett; brothers and sisters, Douglass Blodgett, Becky Brown, John Blodgett, Jeff Blodgett, Kelly Blodgett, Shellie Blodgett, Michael Blodgett, Timothy John TJ, Tom Shrouf, Kristi Robinson, Gary and Lisa Shrouf, and David Shrouf; her mother-in-law, Opal Joy Shrouf; several nieces and nephews and a very large amount of co-workers and friends that she cared deeply for.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Helen Tate and David and L. Frances Cornelison; her mother, Sharon Blodgett; aunts and uncles, Sue Danner, Margaret Cornelison and Elbert Blodgett and two nephews, William “Billy” Shrouf and Jesse Shrouf.
Raella graduated from Kirksville High School in 1984 and MACC Nursing School in 1996. She was a certified social worker/Director of Nursing. She worked at numerous health care facilities in Missouri and she was currently working at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Facility in Marceline, MO.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meadville. She loved fishing, scrap booking, any crafting, cookie day and the Syfy channel.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday (January 3, 2014) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Sisney officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hurdland, MO.
Pallbearers will be Swade Cornelison, Garrett Blodgett, Cole Shrouf, Jeff Shrouf, Daniel Teter and Jack Pulis. Honorary bearers will be Josh Robinson, Marvin Dennis, Tom Westfall and Garry Ray Blackburn.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the
Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home
