Riley Wayne Johnson, 36, died on January 5, 2014 in Kirksville, MO.
Riley Johnson was born December 3, 1977, in Centerville, IA, the son of Glen Wayne Johnson & Jeanie Marlene (Butler) Johnson.

Riley attended Putnam County R-1 schools, graduating in 1996, then went on to get a degree in Agriculture Business from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO, graduating in 2000. On June 28, 2003, he was united in marriage to Kadie Campbell.
During his youth, Riley loved playing all sports, but found a passion for football that continued through his senior year of high school. He was proud to be part of a very special team of talented boys that he formed lifelong friendships with. Riley’s other passion as a young man was farming, helping his dad and working on Fleshman farms as a teenager. He would later use his vacation time from work just to help with the harvest. Riley enjoyed sharing his love for farming with his three young sons.

Riley was currently employed by Oros and Busch Application Technologies, where he enjoyed his work and formed many great relationships. Riley was known as a hard working, loyal, and honest man and he will be irrevocably missed by all who knew and loved him.

Riley is survived by his sons, Avery Wayne Johnson, Corbin Blane Johnson, Owen Pearse Johnson, his parents, Glen and Jeanie of Unionville, MO his brother, Rustin Eli Johnson, of Clearwater, FL, and many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Playle and Jones Funeral Home in Unionville, MO. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9 am to 11 am, with the funeral service at 11 am. Burial will be at the Lemons Cemetery in Lemons, MO.

Any donations for a memorial can be left with Playle and Jones Funeral Home as a savings fund for his children.
