Kendall Daily
Kendall Daily, 69, of rural Unionville, MO, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO, on Friday, February 14, 2014, after a brief illness.
Tim Kendall Daily was born in Putnam County, Missouri on August 12, 1944, the son of Timothy and Ruby (McConnell) Daily, who preceded him in death.
He was reared in Putnam County and graduated from Unionville High School in 1962. He then attended meat cutter’s school in Toledo, OH, before attending Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO, where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Arts education.
Kendall lived most of his adult life in Putnam County with the exception of a few years in Kirksville, MO, where he sold insurance with Met Life. He bought and sold timber in Putnam County as well as being involved in the metal salvage business. Kendall liked the outdoors, hunting, fishing, or just being in the timber watching the wild life. Kendall had a generous spirit and kept in touch with people he knew. He was everybody’s best friend and was a steady, reliable person. Kendall was a member of the Martinstown Church of Christ.
Kendall is survived by his three daughters, Kelli Paetz and husband Robert of Lincoln, NE; Karin Hindmarsh and husband Kevin of Omaha, NE; and Angela Raney and husband Shaun of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Justin Kohlman, Jamey Kohlman, Victoria Thompson, McKale Turner, Emma Raney, Jill Hindmarsh, and Jared Hindmarsh. Three great grandchildren also survive: Nadia Campbell, Tyrus Whittle and MaLeah Whittle. A brother, James Logan Daily, survives in Des Moines, IA.
In addition to his parents, Kendall was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Nadine Daily Perkins and a brother-in-law, Bill Perkins, and a stillborn brother, Gene Daily.
Funeral services for Kendall Daily will be at Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home in Unionville, MO, at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 17, 2014, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Unionville Cemetery.
Memorials for Kendall are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be entrusted with Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
