Phillip Moore, 61, of Glenwood, IA, passed away at the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

Phillip Gene Moore was born in Unionville, MO, on December 22, 1952, the son of Dannie J. and Emma Jean (Bonebright) Moore, who preceded him in death.

Phillip spent most of his childhood attending the Iowa School for the Handicapped in Glenwood, IA. He also lived for a time in Albia, IA, and, most recently, at Park Place Care Center in Glenwood. Even though Phillip lived most of his life in various homes and institutions, he brought special memories to all who knew him.

Phillip is survived by a brother, Carl Lee Moore of Ottumwa, IA.

Graveside services for Phillip Moore were held at the Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, MO, on Friday, February 21. Interment was at the Unionville Cemetery.
