Carol Louise Alger 84 of Kirksville passed away Monday (March 10, 2014) at the LaPlata Nursing Home.

The daughter of Robert and Della (Potter) Stewart, she was born May 17, 1929 in Kirksville, Missouri. On December 16, 1961 in Kirksville she was united in marriage to Kenneth Alger.

Carol is survived by one brother, Sam Stewart of Kirksville and two sisters, Sarah Stitzer and husband Andy of Kirksville and Norma McKim and husband Larry of Brashear.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (March 13, 2014) at Forrest-Llewellyn Cemetery with Brian Carter officiating.
