Page Orville Crim
Page Orville Crim, 93 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (May 8, 2014) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center.
The son of James R. and Ida Mae (Matticks) Crim, he was born June 24, 1920 in Edina, Missouri. On July 24, 1948 in Kirksville he was united in marriage to Mildred Kathryn Jones and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donald E. Crim; three sisters and three brothers.
Page is survived by his daughter, Pamela Crim and fiancé Harold Still of Kirksville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Crim of Edina, MO and Elizabeth Crim of California; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Page grew up in Edina where he attended school until the 8th grade went he had to quit school to help on the family farm. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 until his discharge in 1946. He worked for J. Burdman Auto Parts as a machinist for many years, he then work at K.O.H. and other jobs until he retired. He loved to tinker with things and to work on cars.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (May 12, 2014) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Price officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hills Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 Sunday at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, 2100 E. Shepherd Ave., Kirksville, MO 63501 660-665-2233
