The son of Glen and Maxine (Kent) Robbins, he was born September 24, 1946 in Queen City, MO. He grew up in Rockford, IL and attended the Rockford schools.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Robbins in 1977 and one brother, David L. Robbins on September 3, 2014.
Bob enjoyed being retired and spending time with his dog, Mocha. He enjoyed watching football, and he was a life long Green Bay Packers fan. He liked spending time with his son, Jeff, as they were close.
In 1977 Bob and his best friend in life, Bruce Naffsigger took Jeff to Idaho on an unforgettable 5 day rafting trip down the Snake River. He had always wanted to return to Idaho and did finally in 2011. His final wish was to have his mortal remains brought to Idaho and scattered on a hillside close to his best friend, Bruce. His son Jeff will carry out his last wishes. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Bob was cremated and a private family service will be held.
