Eleanor F. Treasure, 87 of Kirksville passed away Sunday (September 21, 2014) at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.

The daughter of Anthony and Carrie (Brown) March, she was born February 25, 1927 in Moberly, MO. On May 24, 1948 in Kirksville she was united in marriage to Bill Treasure.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill; two sons, Steve Treasure and wife Linda of Kirksville and Tim Treasure and wife Denise of Kirksville; two daughters, Sandi Glenn of Columbia, MO and Terri Acton and husband Galen of Columbia, MO; one brother Paul March of Chillicothe, IL; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.

Eleanor attended school in Kirksville where she graduated high school with the class of 1944. She was a stay at home mother and raised her children. Later she worked for the ASCS office until she retired.

She was a very active member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. She enjoyed her flowers, quilting, working on the computer and following her grandchildren in their activities.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (September 24, 2014) at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church with Father Chris Cordes officiating. Burial will be in Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

No visitation will be held, arrangement under the direction of the
