Lewis C. Draper, 93 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday (October 1, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The son of Clarence and Irene (Propst) Draper, he was born April 8, 1921 in Union County, New Mexico.

Lewis is survived by his son, L.C. Draper and wife Denise of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Luanne Donahue of Carlsbad, CA; three grandsons, Eric Draper of New Orleans, LA, Joshua Donahue of Baltimore, MD and Patrick Donahue of San Antonio, TX and three great grandsons..

Lewis moved to Missouri at the age of 15. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He farmed all of his life in Adair County.

A private graveside service will be held at Bullion Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
