John O. Beaty

John O. Beaty, 55 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (October 23, 2014) in Watertown, South Dakota.

The son of John and Gloria (Merschbrock) Beaty, he was born March 30, 1959 in Keokuk, Iowa.

John is survived by his son, Chris Beaty and wife Vanessa of Oceanside, CA; his daughter, Cheri Crouch and husband Peter of Watertown, NY; two brothers, Artis Beaty of St. Louis, MO and Chad Beaty of Chicago, IL; one sister, Kay Hermes of Ft. Madison, IA; four grandchildren; and his friend, Lillian Hurley of Kirksville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday (November 1, 2014) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with cremation following.
