Mary Fisher

Mary Ann Fisher, 78 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (November 13, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Bill and Geneva Kelso, she was born February 19, 1936 in New Hampton, Iowa. On August 18, 1957 in New Hampton, Iowa she was united in marriage to Donald Fisher.

Mary is survived by one son, John Fisher and wife Marilyn of Kirksville; one daughter, Denise Beggs and husband Bill of St. Louis, MO; one granddaughter, Tonya Beaty and husband Brian of Georgia; and two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Zach.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald on July 23, 2014 and one sister, Carolyn Gray.

Mary grew up in New Hampton, Iowa where she graduated high school. She attended the Lutheran College in New Hampton, Iowa. After her marriage she moved with her husband during his career to Davenport, IA, then to St. Louis and in 1979 to Kirksville. She enjoyed camping and going to the Moose to dances.

Mary will be cremated and no service will be held.
