Glenn Dale Wilson, age 72, passed away on March 6, 2015, at his home on the family farm. Glenn was born in Lebanon, MO, on December 3, 1942, the son of Gordon and Vivian (Gregory) Wilson. Glenn married Sylvia Capps in Omaha, MO, on December 24, 1996.

Glenn grew up working at Bramers manufacturing cabinets, for 32 years. After then Glenn went on to buy his own farm and worked there in Iowa. After that Glenn moved to Missouri in 1994. After moving to Missouri Glenn was employed with Cargill/Excel Foods, for 6 years in Ottumwa IA. In Glenn’s spare time you could find him on the farm in Omaha Mo, taking care of cattle and his family. Glenn was and always will be known for his hard work dedication, humor, and the amount of love he had for everyone he knew. Glenn would want everyone to know how much he cared and appreciated his son in law Troy Clark. Troy was always there when Glenn needed him to be, whether it was to re patch the roof in the middle of the night or to catch the cattle or to build fence or to just hang out with, Troy was always there. Glenn will always be missed and dearly loved by all of his family and friends.

Surviving Glenn are his wife Sylvia Wilson, of 19 years, his twin daughters, Sharon Clark and her husband Troy Clark of Unionville, MO, and Karen Moore and her husband Tony Moore of Milan, MO. Also surviving are four grandchildren Kendra Clark, Tisha Smith, Cody Smith, and Christopher Lake as well as his 3 great grandchildren, Zephaniah Clark, Autumn Smith, and Alexis Smith.

Others who preceded Glenn in death were a son at birth and his brother Kenneth Wilson.

Graveside services for Glenn Wilson will be at the Lone Pine Cemetery north of Martinstown, MO, at 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2015. Memorials are suggested to the family and may be entrusted with Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
