Ronald Bulechek
Ronald Buleckek, 67 of rural Queen City passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, MO.
The son of Anthony and Doris (Elliott) Bulechek, he was born June 15, 1948, in Ainsworth, IA. On June 11, 1965, in Memphis, MO, he was married to Virginia Sue Humphrey and to this marriage three children were born.
Ron is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, his children, Ronda Anderson and husband Richard of Lancaster, Ronald Eugene Bulechek Jr. and wife Jennifer of Kirksville, and Jennifer Blackstad and husband Richard of Kirksville; grandchildren, Mitchell Watson, Jordan Watson, Dillon Watson, Samantha Bulechek, Kody Bulechek, Richelle Hinners, and Kristopher Blanckstad; great grandchildren, Maxwell Hinners, Emmett Hinners, Kyler Watson, Mia Kay Watson, Brentley Watson, and Brent Watson; two brothers, Kenneth Bulechek and wife Karen and Robert Bulechek and wife Arlene; two sisters, Christina Steepples and Nancy Shantez; his aunt, Delores Parsons and husband George; his mother and father-in-law, Thelma and Keith Humphrey and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
Ron grew up in Solon, Iowa and attended school there until moving to Downing, Missouri in 1961. He attended school in Downing until the school burned. He then attended the Lancaster High School, graduating with the class of 1967. Ron and Sue lived in Downing when first married, moving to rural Queen City in 1975, where they farmed. Ron also was a factory worker from 1975 until 2009, while he continued to farm.
He was a great Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday (May 27, 2015) in the Willmathsville Cemetery, with Pastor Sonny Smyser officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Watson, Jordon, Watson, Dillon Watson, Kody Bulechek, Kristopher Blackstad, and Tim Bowling. Honorary bearers will be Richard Western and Caleb Randolph.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday (May 27, 2015) in the
Dooley Funeral Home
