Brenda Sue Ingram, 54 of Kirksville passed away Tuesday June 2, 2015 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center.

Brenda was born on August 6, 1960 in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Cryus and Melva (Johnson) Combs. On December 14, 2003 in Kirksville, MO she was united in marriage to Roy Ingram.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Roy Ingram of Kirksville, MO; daughter, Misty Heitman and husband Jason of Kansas City, MO; step daughter, Regina Grosekemper of Kirksville, MO; brother, Danny Combs of Kirksville, MO; step grandchild, Serenity Grosekemper and a aunt, Virginia Johnson.

Brenda was reared in Kirksville and attended Kirksville schools graduating in 1978. She then attended Kirksville VocTech for two years. As a young lady she worked for several restaurants, nine years at the shoe factory. She continued working in food service and co-owner R.R. Automotive & Towing. She was a member of the Crossing Church and West Chariton Fellowship Church in Novinger. She was active in Celebrate Recovery, Christian Community Food Depot and George Rae Cancer Center. Brenda didn’t know a stranger and loved Jesus.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Crossing Church from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
