Rickie Stahlnecker

Rickie Stahlnecker, 64, of Unionville, MO, passed away suddenly at the Putnam County Memorial Hospital in Unionville, MO, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Rickie Joseph Stahlnecker was born in Rochester, NY, on July 10, 1950, the son of Clarence Joseph and Dolores DelRio (Terry) Stahlnecker, who preceded him in death. Rickie and his mother moved to Phoenix, AZ, for his mother’s health when Rickie was still a pre-schooler. He was reared in Phoenix and lived there until moving to Unionville in 2014. Rickie married Bonnie Byars in Phoenix on May 2, 1982, and she survives at home in Unionville.

Rickie began his working career as a plumber working with his uncle Pasqualee Cree in Phoenix. He then worked maintenance for a number of years in the apartment complex in which he lived. Rickie also owned and operated a water softener company.

Rickie was an outgoing and friendly person who had numerous friends. He was very family oriented and had a close relationship with his mother and siblings. He liked to follow horse and dog races and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler football fan. He and Bonnie liked to camp and fish. Rickie believed strongly in law and order and was a consistent financial contributor to the Sheriff’s department in the Phoenix area.

In addition to his wife, Rickie is survived by a brother, James (Tonie) DeLisse of Las Vegas, NV, and a sister, Julie (Randy) Beyer of Phoenix, AZ. Three nephews also survive: JD DeLisse, Randy Beyer, Jr., and Jeffrey Beyer.

Rickie was also preceded in death by a sister, Denise DeLisse.

Graveside services for Rickie Stahlnecker will be at the Sprigg Cemetery in rural Lucerne, MO, at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2015. Interment will take place at the Sprigg.
