Janet Sue Head 58 of Kirksville passed away Tuesday (August 18, 2015) at her home in Kirksville.

The daughter of John and Eva Dale (Jones) Forrester, she was born October 17, 1956 in Kirksville, MO. On June 2, 1974 in Pure Air, MO she was united in marriage to James Head.

Sue is survived by her husband, James; three brothers, Donald Forrester of Stockton, CA, Bob Forrester of Marietta, KS and Bill Forrester of Cameron, MO; four sisters, Esther Martin of Tulsa, OK, Jean Delvalle of Ponca City, OK, Sharon Hall of Hurdland, MO and Colleen Becker of Sun City, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bud Forrester, John Lynn Forrester and Eldon Lee Forrester; and three sisters, Darlene Freemire, Helen Backer, and Ann Schmitz.

Sue grew up in Knox County where she attended school and graduated from Knox County High School in 1974. She received a degree in business from William Woods University. She worked in the finance department for the City of Kirksville, in the business office at Lovegreen Ford, and currently for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. She was also the current Pastor of Yarrow United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and loved her dogs.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (August 26, 2015) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Pastor Sheila Swafford and Pastor Dale Stone officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the
