James Osborn

James Maurice Osborn, 68 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (September 17, 2015) at the Schuyler County Nursing Home.

The son of Pearl Guy and Hester Beatrice (Sexton) Osborn, he was born August 20, 1947 in Novinger, MO. He attended school in Kirksville and graduated Kirksville High School in 1965. He attended Northeast Missouri State University and then received his R.N. degree in Jefferson City, MO. He worked as an R.N. in Jefferson City and Columbia, working early in his career in the cardiac surgical department at the University of Missouri. James is survived by his sister, Sue Osborn of Kirksville; nieces, Carol Petree, Karen Olivieri, Kathy King, and Julie Waite; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Wayne Franklin Osborn; an infant brother; and a half brother, Carl Halley.

James wishes were to be cremated and no service will be held.
