Franklin D. McCoy

Franklin McCoy, 70 of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Thursday, (February 26, 2009) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

He was born June 9, 1938 in Greentop, Missouri, the son of Seth and Lillie Sarah Ethel (Stender) McCoy. On December 31, 1966 in Kirksville he was united in marriage to Jessie Reed, who preceded him in death, also preceding him was a son in infancy.

He is also survived by three sons, Franklin McCoy Jr. William McCoy and wife Angela and Seth McCoy all of Kirksville, one daughter Lisa Potter and husband Kenny of Kirksville, one brother Charlie McCoy of Moulton, Ia. And three sisters, Ruth Woodward of Madison, Mo. Mary McCoy of Centerville, Ia and Margie Hubbard of Tupelo, Ms. And eight grandchildren.

Mr. McCoy was cremated and a service will be held at a later date at Greentop Cemetery.
