Michael Arthur Hayes

Michael Arthur Hayes, 56, of Brashear, Missouri, passed away Wednesday (April 1, 2009) at his home in Brashear, Missouri.

He was born January 15, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Basil Arthur and Rita (Fuller) Hayes. On December 8, 2004, in Kirksville, he was united in marriage to Cindy Ownbey, who survives.

He is also survived by three daughters, Michel Hayes Vasquez of Chicago, Illinois; Ninadelphine Hayes and Sarah Hayes both of Kirksville, Missouri; two step-sons, Chris Sweet and Steven Summers both of Kirksville, Missouri; and one step-daughter Christyl Sweet Harrellson of Brashear, Missouri; one sister, Joy Hayes of Milan, Missouri; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Heather Hayes.

Services will be held at a later date.
