Mary Adeline Partin age 94, of Kirksville MO passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.

The daughter of James William and Vella Hollon Steele Paris Partin she was born August 19, 1921 in Collinsville, MO. On December 26, 1952 in Kirksville, MO she was united in marriage to Harvey Douglas Partin, Sr.

She was preceded in death by one child at birth; four brothers, Cloral Voyal Paris, James William Paris, Jr., Franklin LeRoy Paris and one in infancy; three sisters, Lillian R. Paris, Bonnie Leavada Casey and Josie Louise Peters and twins in infancy.

Mary is survived by her son, Harvey Douglas Partin, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Kirksville, MO; three grandchildren, Denita Lynn Gashwiler and husband, Cody; Kimberley McNear and husband, Daniel and Garyallen Couch and wife, Niki; three great-grandchildren, Baylee Gashwiler, Alexx and Kyleigh McNear; one sister, Francis Phillips of Rock Island, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was raised on farms in the Collinsville and Novinger, MO area. She worked for the Florsheim Shoe Factory for many years. She was a past member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Kirksville.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Virgil Jones officiating. Musical selections will be “Beyond The Sunset” and “How Great Thou Art”. Burial will be in the Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville, MO.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the
