Charlotte Mccall

Charlotte A. McCall, 65 of Milan, MO passed away Saturday (January 2, 2016) in Gainsville, MO.

The daughter of James Norman and Ruby May (Finchum) Wattenbarger, she was born January 24, 1950 in Milan, MO. On June 5, 1977 in Greentop, MO she married Royce Lewellen and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1987. On March 31, 2009 in Milan, MO she married Dean W. McCall.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Dean; two sons, Jerrod (Tia) Lewellen of Jacksonville, FL and Shawn (Sherry) Lewellen of Gainsville, MO; one step son, Mike (Lora) McCall of Jamesport, MO; seven grandchildren, Chelsey, Evan and Dylan Lewellen, Ryan and Jami Bridges, Hailey and Landyn Lewellen; one step grandchild, Drew (Laney) McCall; one great grandchild, Hunter Gott; two step great grandchildren, Jonathan and Jackson McCall; one sister, Doris Simpson of Trenton, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; three brothers and one sister.

Charlotte graduated from Milan High School in 1968. She received her L.P.N. in Kirksville in 1970. She worked as a nurse in Liberty, MO until 1978 when her first son was born. In 1987 she moved back to Milan and worked at ConAgra and then Farmland until she retired in 2011.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First Assembly of God Church in Liberty, MO. She enjoyed playing games on the computer, being on social media, and traveling.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (January 7, 2016) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Dorothy Knott officiating. Burial will be in Greentop Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 to 1`:00 p.m. Thursday at the
