Roger Keith Conley, 67 of Kirksville passed away Sunday (January 24, 2016) at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
The son of Carl and Ruth (Lawson) Conley, he was born April 23, 1948 in Kirksville. On January 28, 1967 he was united in marriage to Martha McKim and to this union two children were born.
Roger is survived by his wife, Martha; his children, Laura Spencer and husband Danny of Kirksville and Carl Conley and wife Anna of Connelsville, MO; seven grandchildren, Derek (Jenny) Conley, Cassie (Aaron) Speaks, Richard (Tesia) Speaks, Chandra (Steven) Toolate, Matthew Conley, Jessica Conley, and Sara Conley; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Claude Conley and wife Patty of Kirksville; and one uncle, James Lawson of Kirksville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ronnie, Johnnie, and Jimmie Conley, and one sister, Karen Sue Conley.
Roger lived in the Novinger and Kirksville area his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with his family.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday (January 29, 2016) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Coonfield officiating. Burial will be in the Mulberry Cemetery in Northwest Adair County.
Pallbearers will be Derek Conley, Richard Speaks, Steven Toolate, Aaron Hoerrmann, Matthew Conley and David Clay.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the
Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home
