Raymond Salter, 68 of Brashear, MO passed away Thursday February 4, 2016 in Tampa, FL.

The son of Russell and Mona (Coffman) Salter, he was born August 3, 1947 in Wray, Colorado.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Joyce Salter (Rager); loving father of Kurtis Salter and wife Megan of Prospect, KY, Travis Salter and wife Laura of Des Peres, MO, Meghan Pinkerton (Salter) and husband Corey of San Antonio, TX. Loving PaPa of Grayson, Brecken, Lily, Emma and Murphy. Dear sibling of Morris (Judy) Salter of Richmond, MO, Wuaneta (Frank) Smith of Greenville, SC, Joyce Metke of Buorbonnais, IL, Wayne (Suzie) Salter of Huxley, Iowa, Jim (Judy) Salter of Ashland, MO, Larry Salter (Belinda Ames) of Brashear, MO and Lonnie (Kim) Salter of Brashear, MO and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mona Salter.

A graduate of Brashear High School in 1965, an electrician, a mentor, farmer, conservationist, and ultimate handyman. Raymond was a member of Brashear United Methodist Church, Brashear School Board member, and Brashear School Volunteer. He was always the first to lend a helping hand no matter how big a project.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (February 11, 2016) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Nancy Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday (February 10th) from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the
