Herschel Selby, 85 of Kirksville passed away Friday (May 28, 2009) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center.
The son of Dick and Stella Selby, he was born April 9, 1924 in Brashear, Missouri. He married Lydia Samantha Wheeler and she preceded him in death in 1994. He was also preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Herschel is survived by two sons, Junior Selby of Kirksville and Billy Joe Selby of Kansas City, KS, and one brother Raymond Selby of Kirksville.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (June 3, 2009) at Brashear Cemetery in Brashear, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer funeral Home in Kirksville.
