Bert Saner

Bert Saner, 82 of Kirksville passed away Monday (June 27, 2016) unexpectedly at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia, MO.

The son of Charles B. and Ethel Saner, he was born December 9, 1933 in Albia, Iowa. Bert was employed by the City of Kirksville.

Bert is survived by his children, Rita Thomas of Kirksville, Cheryl Anerson of Virginia, Connie Saner of Kirksville, Michael Saner and daughter-in-law Bev Saner of Hayward, CA; three sisters, Thelma Saner of Kirksville, Mary Simmons of Mankota, MN, and Gertrude Saner of LaPlata, MO; one brother, Vince Saner and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside service will be held at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Arrangements by Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
