Lee Brouhard, 77 of Kirksville passed away Sunday (July 24, 2016) at his home in Kirksville.
The son of Vern and Lorene (Leeper) Brouhard, he was born March 17, 1939 in Utica, MO. On January 5, 1970 in Ottumwa, IA he was united in marriage to Nora Chaffee.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Nora; one daughter, Paula Cheatham of St. Peters, MO; one son, Gaylen Brouhard of Kirksville; five grandchildren, Logan Cheatham, Caleb Cheatham, Todd Brouhard, Amanda Brouhard and Brooklynn Brouhard; one brother, Donnie Brouhard of Lee Summit; four sisters, Elizabeth VanDusen of Kirksville, Judy Murdock and husband Joe of Meadville, MO, Geneva Shoultz and husband Lowell of Avalon, MO, and Lori Dupree and husband Marty of Gravois Mills, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Gary and Gerald Brouhard.
Lee spent his early life in the Chillicothe area where he graduated high school. He has lived the last 43 years in Kirksville where he retired after 28 years from Hollister Inc.
For many years he was involved in the local CB radio community and in later years was an active member of the Buzzard Gulch Aero-modelers Club. Above all, Lee’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.
A memorial visitation with the family will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday (July 30, 2016) at the
