Ralph Lewis
Ralph C. Lewis, 75 of rural Greentop, MO passed away Monday, October 18th at his home.
Ralph was born August 17, 1941 in New Boston, MO, to Russel and Leola (Bruner) Lewis and they preceded in death; Russel on Sept. 20, 1944 and Leola in Jan. of 2002. He was also preceded in death
by one sister, two brothers, and one great nephew, Jason Aldridge.
He attended Brushy Rural School east of Queen City and graduated from Queen City High School in 1959. From 1961 – 1968 he served in the U.S. Army as an M.P. with the 720th.
In March of 1968 in Des Moines, IA he was married to Judith K. Keener and to his marriage two sons were born, Dennis Allen Lewis who preceded his in death on Dec. 4, 1996 and Jeffrey Scott Lewis and wife Clanci of Greentop; and granddaughter’s, Hailey and Hanna. Also survived by two sisters, one brother, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; good friends, Judi Lewis of Greentop, Marilyn McVey of Kirksville, and Allen Aldridge of Queen City; very special friends, Bill and Becky Ford of Queen City.
Ralph will be cremated and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday (Oct. 28, 2016) at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
Friends who wish to see the family or follow to the cemetery, are welcome to meet at the funeral home at 12:30 on Friday, October 28, 2016.
