Carman Barnes age 65, of Kirksville, MO passed away Monday (October 31, 2016) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO

The daughter of Martiniano Pagot and Edith Almazon Limary, Carmen was born on January 11, 1951 in Honolulu, Hawaii. On November 3, 1980 in Honolulu, Hawaii she was united in marriage to Herman "Al" Barnes, who survives.

She is also survived by one daughter, Tammy Gramberg; one son, David Barnes; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Jeff Limary and wife, Christine, Al Limary and wife, Lisa, Bill Limary and wife, Cynthia, Marsha Sneed and husband, Norwood, George Limary, Kalani Isbell and husband, Keith and Tommy Limary and wife, Kristen and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carmen was raised in Hawaii and graduated from the Kalani High School. She served in the United States Army where she met and married Al. She had been employed with the ROTC program at Truman State University until her retirement in July, 2016.

Carmen was a member of the El Kadir Jewels and the Kirksville Eastern Star Chapter #184 O.E.S.

Carmen has been cremated and her remains will be return to Hawaii.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Hospital for Children and may be left at or send to the funeral home.
