While attending college, he met and married Shirley James on May 19, 1962 in Grinnell, Iowa. Lee is survived by his wife of 54 years, two daughters Lori Drennan & Chris of Kirksville and Lisa Lewman & John of Kansas City, MO; three sisters, Billie Marie Broich of Des Moines, IA, Marla Crawford of Grinnell, IA, Harriett Lincoln & Don of Cando, ND; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren,

In October of 1968, he symbolized his dedication by being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Afterwards Lee enjoyed working not only with the local congregation but was diligent in helping others and spent much time in the planning and building of Kingdom Halls though out the state for others to have a center of pure worship.

Lee worked in the insurance industry, starting with Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 10 years. He then started his own agency in Kirksville which was known as Fringe Benefit Specialist.

Later in life, Lee and Shirley enjoyed spending their winters in Florida where they made many wonderful friends as well as enjoying the weather and playing golf.

All though Lee will be missed, he is in the safest place: Jehovah’s memory and he will be among the countless others who Jehovah yearns to resurrect to a paradise earth. (Job 14:14,15:Ps37.28)
