Walter Head

Walter Head passed away on Sat. Jan.14, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO, he lived in Ft Madison, IA.

Walter left behind 6 children, Cathy Head of San Diego, CA Jeannie Padilla (husband) Forrest Padilla, of San Diego, CA, Walter Head (wife) Dawn Head of GlenDale,AZ, Charlie Head (wife) Samantha, of Tucson, AZ, Rebekah Cuevas (Husband) Fausto of Fort Lenardwood, MO, Jeffrey Head also of Tucson, AZ. He had five grandchildren, Briana, Gavinn, Rylee, Parker, & Vivian. Also survived by 6 brothers and sisters, James Head (wife) Cathy of Novinger, MO, Jeri Scriven (husband) Thomas of LaPlata, MO, Jesse Head (wife) Maggie of Crawfordsville, IN, Virginia Barriner of DeSoto, MO, Cathy Milner (husband) Neil of Peoria, AZ, David Head (Sally) of Warwick, RI; and one aunt, Barbra McCarty of LaPlata, MO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Head and his mother, Margie (Young) Head.

Walter was a self employed Truck driver and he also liked country and western.

Walter will be cremated and burial will be at a later date in Highland Park Cemetery.
