Alex Vogt

Alex James Michael Vogt passed away suddenly at his home on Friday January 27, 2017. He was born on November 10, 1995 to Daniel and Judith Vogt of Kirksville, MO. At the time of his death he was surrounded by friends and his girlfriend Madi Mazurek.

Alex is survived by his parents, Daniel and Judith Vogt; his sister, Jennifer Vogt; his brother Brian and wife Kaily Vogt (Martin); a nephew, Jackson, and two nieces, Evaline and Elsie, all of Kirksville; a son Jeremy Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by his Grandfather, Paul Vogt of Crestwood, MO; his Grandmother, Joan Smith of Montgomery City, MO; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alex is preceded in death by his Grandfather, William Donald Smith of Montgomery City, MO and his Grandmother, Donna Louise Vogt of Crestwood, MO.

Alex was a 2014 graduate of Kirksville Senior High and had been pursuing his education at MACC in Kirksville. He had several accomplishments in his short life including obtaining his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and being a four year varsity soccer player for Kirksville High School. He enjoyed participating in mission trips through his church. His passions in life included graphic arts and design, his family, many friends, and his son Jeremy.

A memorial service will be held on February 4, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Kirksville, MO at 2 PM. Arrangements under the direction of
